On July 11th, Giovanni·Antonino， the deputy director of Italian Turino World Affairs Institute, led his group to visit Tianjin TEDA. Wei Jianqing, the executive general manager of China-Africa TEDA, received the delegation warmly. At this time, the delegation visited Tianjin TEDA mainly for studying the experience of China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone (hereinafter referred to as “TEDA Cooperation Zone”), understanding the overseas achievements of TEDA under the proposal of “the Belt and Road” and copying the successful operation mode of TEDA Cooperation Zone.

At the beginning of the meeting, Wei Jianqing expressed sincere welcome and gratitude for visit of the guests. On the meeting, the delegation showed keen interest in development preparation, park operation, difficulties, competition environment, park safety, talent reservation and successful experience of TEDA Cooperation Zone and consulted about overseas investment mode of TEDA, “going global” mode of Chinese enterprises, Italy-oriented investment and etc.

Wei Jianqing answered the questions of the delegation one by one patiently, explained the successful experience of TEDA Cooperation Zone to the delegation and simply summarized “TEDA Mode” and the situation of TEDA Overseas Institute. The meeting was finished at 16:30 on the same day. The atmosphere of the whole meeting is relaxed and active.
